Telluride FISHWater Double IPA

FISHwater is the dream-child of Brewer Chris Fish, a long-time and full-time resident of Colorado and an in-demand brewer from everywhere between Boulder and Telluride. This beer was chosen because of its Wicked hops and moderate alcohol of 8.5% abv. The Calculated IBUs are well over 100. Hops in the boil are are Magnum, Chinook, CTZ, Centennials, and Citra. Chris goes to crazy heights with FISHwater, as it is double dry-hopped with CTZ, Chinook, Centennial and Citra. CTZ are known for their alpha-acids, similar to the Magnum, its German equivalent. That’s what gives this DIPA it’s very bitter taste, but the fermentation time has definitely helped even out its balance between bitter, sour, and citric. FISHwater is unfiltered, but fined. The hops used are from friends, including Marble and New Belgium.
